I completely agree with Mr. Parson that nobody should be judged upon the actions of another, relative or not. However, I'd like to point out that the purpose of this rumor doesn't appear to be guilt by association. The aim here seems to be focused on the "spin" the Senator's office allegedly puts on the family history.

Many of our politicians are guilty of displaying a flagrant integrity. It's not uncommon for politicians on every level to provide verbose narratives straining the boundaries of truth to excuse inexcusable actions or to put a shine on a dark period. Some are quite obviously outright liars. The current Congress is chock full of unapologetic folks utterly lacking integrity, with little (if any) respect for the constituents. For example, I can't count the number of times in recent weeks I've read/heard a federal representative insist that if the voters 'only understood' their stand, we'd be behind them completely. They act as though we're simpletons who would otherwise be celebrating instead of criticizing, if only our ignorant minds could truly comprehend. Some of the most high-profile politicians in our nation seem to feel that they've been elected not to represent our wishes but to instead tell us that they know better.

So while this particular hoax is both believable & amusing, I contend that we needn't resort to such lengths to reveal our elected officials for what they really are, as plenty of factual evidence exists to serve that purpose. And as a lifelong Pennsylvanian, I know a thing or two about dirty self-serving politicians. Good luck in November, Nevada! You will defeat Reid with one of the many better choices poised to oppose him. I just with PA voters would overcome their apathy & have some passion for our future.

This is impotent crap. If you want to be serious, ask Harry why he inserted into the bill clauses prohibiting future Congresses from considering changes to certain portions of the bill, primarily those dealing with the cost-cutting, patient-killing recommendations of the Nazi-like Independent Medicare Advisory Board. It's all about killing people to save money, just like Hitler's T4 panel, and Reid stuck in there clauses to protect panel from any future Congressional or judicial review, no matter how many people die because of it. This is flagrantly anti-Constitutional and the foundation for a dictatorship.

I remember this news item about Brian Krolicki and his office helper
making an error in their bookwork. No money was missing and and the
tort was accepted as an honest mistake. Whatever changed that? Too
 much gossip, Ild say.

We in Washington State need to get rid of Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell as well. They are in lockstep with anything proposed by the Democrats. They rubber stamp everything even though it is not in the best interest of Washingtonians. When I have tried to express my view to Murray, all she can do is send me a form letter telling me of the need to insure ALL Washingtonians. When I called her Senate office I was treated rudely by the woman answering the phone who hung up on me when I said that I would work tirelessly to unseat Senator Murray if she voted for socialized healthcare. These Democrats have gotten so arrogant because they think they are untouchable. But before they can be beaten, we have to find passionate conservatives to run against them who want to bring the country back to the principles promoted by the founding fathers. It is hard to beat a Democrat in a politically correct environment. When we step into the ring, they use PC to tie our candidate's hands behind his/her back and then commence to pull off the gloves and fight dirty with the full support of the liberal press. They are never face the prospect of being labeled politically incorrect because they introduced the term into Americana and, as such, define it's limits to suit themselves. This tactic originated in the old Soviet Union as a way to get citizens to unquestionably accept Marxist Doctrine. To defeat Democrats, we first must defeat the concept of political correctness within the conservative movement. This means calling a spade a spade without worrying about the attacks that will surely be launched by the left to silent our message. Americans love those who have convictions, talk straight, and walk the walk. Most thinking Americans hate everything about political correctness and the toll it takes on freedom of speech. It looks like we certainly have our work cut out for us.
